The Science: Subconscious vs. Conscious Speed
We like to believe we are rational beings. That we can think our way through anything. We like to believe that we have so much control over everything in life, including how we react in pressure cooker moments. But the truth is, in moments of stress, fear, or challenge, your subconscious always reacts faster than your conscious mind. You cannot out-think it in the moment. You can't talk it down.
